Welcome to the Blue Knights Nova Scotia 1 Web Site
The Blue Knights Nova Scotia 1 chapter (BKNS1) was organized by a small group of motorcycling Halifax Police Officers, who in June 1978 went to Blue Knights International Headquarters in Brewer, Maine and received the charter for the new chapter.
The Nova Scotia 1 Chapter supports the Blue Knights' aim of promoting a healthier attitude toward motorcycling, and raising funds for worthwhile charities. The Blue Knights are particularly interested in the welfare of children.
All BKNS1 members are either active or retired peace officers in Canada or affiliated by friendship with a Canadian law enforcement agency. The Blue Knights are in no way affiliated with outlaw motorcycle gangs and such affiliation is strictly forbidden.
